Do you give a crack addict more crack?
Hi folks, back on the grid after an amazing trip to Kings Canyon. It appears as if the federal government can do somethings right (shocker) such as preserve our beautiful open spaces. Let us hope that this mentality continues for ALL generations. For example, if I lived in Fresno and hated traffic (as we all do) I would NOT BE in favor of a TOLL ROAD because of the negative impact for future generations. It is extremely selfish for this generation to complain about traffic and want to build more toll roads to alleviate traffic while ignoring the increasing population of our future. I want to use this blog to give Paul credit for his long-range views on the current problems that America has to deal with. It is easy to only think in the short term and to look out for yourself. We all want cheaper gas and love our cars but what price are we willing to pay? How does drilling in our preserves (that McCain voted for) solve our problems for future generations? The fact is that the majority of Americans have become addict to the easy solution for all our problems and hide behind fake patriotism (flag pins) for their reliance on easy solutions. We need long-term thinking in this country and Obama is the man to do it. We all love our country and need to realize that we
